Guidelines

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday: 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM*
Saturday, Sunday: 5:45 AM to 11:00 PM*

* Doors will be locked at 10:00pm. Members already in the building may play until 10:45 PM and must be out of the building by 11 PM.

Holiday hours will be announced in the newsletter

In case of inclement weather, call the service desk for information regarding club cancellations and/or closures.

CHECK IN

All members are asked to sign in at the Front Desk upon entering the club. This includes members using the outdoor courts.

Upon request, members may be asked to show their membership cards.

GUESTS

Guests are welcome when accompanied by a member.

The charge for guests is: $9 per visit for tennis, $6 per visit for racquetball, squash, and fitness.

Guests are subject to the same rules as members.

Each guest must be registered at the Front Desk by the sponsoring member.

Any member bringing a guest to the club without following proper check in procedures will be charged a double guest fee. Repeat violators will be subject to suspension.

Each guest is limited to using the facility two times per month.

Members with out-of-town guests may purchase an extended pass. Inquire at the front desk for further information.

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in any indoor areas of the club or within 10 feet of the Club entrance

CELL PHONES
Cell phones are not permitted to be used on the courts.

SAFTEY

Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle and make sure your vehicle is locked. The club shall not be responsible for any damage to or loss of personal belongings of any guest or member nor liable for injury or accident which members or guests may suffer while using club facilities.

PERSONAL CONDUCT

Members are asked to conduct themselves in a courteous and sportsmanlike manner and to refrain from the use of profanity at all times at the club.

Members’ actions should not in any way interfere with other members’ enjoyment of the club.

The General Manager or designated representative shall have the authority to remove, suspend, or terminate any member or guest from the club and from participating in club events for conduct judged to be detrimental to the welfare of the club or its members.

SUGGESTIONS

We welcome your thoughts and suggestions regarding the Club’s operation. Complaints should be brought to the attention of the Club Manager or management staff.

CHILDCARE

All children 6 years and under must be checked into childcare or be accompanied by a responsible delegate who is at least 14 years of age.

Children under the age of 5 are not allowed on the tennis or racquetball courts.

A current schedule of childcare hours, charges and rules are available at the Service Desk.

JUNIORS

Juniors are defined as those individuals under the age of 23 on their parents’ memberships or those who have Junior Memberships.

Juniors are expected to behave in a courteous manner at all times and respect club property. Juniors are subject to staff direction at all times. Violation of staff direction or club rules may result in suspension or termination of club privileges.

BILLING

Members will receive their bill by the first of the month.

Payment is due by the 15th of that month in order to remain current.

Any portion of a bill remaining unpaid after the 25th of the month is subject to a finance charge of 1 ½% per month.

Any member whose account is 60 days past due may be denied playing privileges and use of the club until their account is brought to a current status.

Dues shall accrue to all memberships until and including the month in which written resignation is received.

Monthly dues are billed on the first of each month.

Any member whose check is returned from the bank due to non-sufficient funds will be charged a $25 fee.

INACTIVE MEMBERSHIPS

Members may put their membership on an inactive status for a minimum of 6 months.

Requests for inactive status must be submitted by the 20th of the month, and will become effective the first of the month following notification.

The fee for inactive status is 20% of regular monthly dues.

Inactive dues will be calculated as follows: current monthly dues x 12 months x 20%. Billing will occur annually beginning with the first month of inactive status.

If a member has been inactive for a minimum of 6 months and chooses to reactivate, any prepaid dues will be credited back to their account and regular dues billing will resume.

Members on inactive status less than 6 months and wishing to re-activate, will receive no credit for prepaid dues.

Inactive members may not participate in club programs or lessons. They may, however, use the club twice a month with a $9 guest fee for tennis; a $6 guest fee for fitness.

CHANGING MEMBERSHIP TYPE

Requests to change membership type must be submitted by the 20th of the month, and will become effective the first of the month following notification.

Members may downgrade to a membership with lower dues with proper notification.

Members who wish to upgrade their membership may do so in one of the following way:

To upgrade to an initiation level not previously paid for, the fee is the difference between the full face value of the two initiations.

To upgrade to an initiation level that has been previously paid for, the fee is 20% of the difference between the full face value of the two initiations

INJURED STATUS

Injured status is intended for members who have a physical ailment that prohibits use of the club for a minimum of three months.

With a physician’s written verification of the injury, members may pay dues at a reduced rate during their absence from the club.

RESIGNATION

Request for resignation must be submitted by the 20th of the month, and will become effective the first of the month following notification.

Dues shall accrue to all memberships until and including the month in which written resignation is received.

TENNIS

TENNIS ATTIRE
General – Proper dress code rules apply to all members and guests who play on the indoor or outdoor tennis courts. All clothing must be in good condition and clean.

Designs and logos on all apparel must be in good taste and may not advertise alcohol products, music groups or anything management views in poor taste.

Shoes – Tennis shoes are the only acceptable shoes allowed on the courts. No running shoes, leisure shoes, or black soled shoes that mark are allowed.

Shorts – Traditional tennis shorts are preferred. Shorts must be above the knee. Compression shorts may be worn under shorts or skirts. Running shorts are not allowed.

Shirts – Men: Tennis shirts (knit with collar) are preferred; T-shirts are acceptable. Absolutely no athletic tops (football, rugby, baseball jerseys, etc.) nor tank or crop tops are allowed. Shirts must be worn at all times in the building. Women: Sports bras must be covered with an appropriate tennis shirt or tank top.

Warm-ups – Warm-ups, sweatshirts and sweat pants are allowed. Running tights or leggings may be worn under shorts or skirts.

TENNIS RESERVATIONS

Courts Times
Indoor tennis court times are for one hour and 15 minutes.
Available playing times are:
6:30 am 10:15 am 2:00 pm 5:45 pm
7:45 am 11:30 am 3:15 pm 7:00 pm
9:00 am 12:45 pm 4:30 pm 8:15 pm
9:30 pm

Making Reservations
Court reservations may only be made one day ahead or on a day-of-play basis. Tennis reservations will be taken, by phone only, according to the following schedule:

  • 5:45 am - open play
  • 7:00 am - day-of-play reservations
  • 7:30 am - day-ahead reservations for morning(6:30am - 10:15am) courts
  • 8:00 am - day-ahead reservations for daytime(11:30am-4:30pm) courts
  • 8:30 am - day-ahead reservations for evening courts(5:45pm-9:30pm)

Only one court reservation may be made per phone call. When making reservations for singles play, both players’ names must be used. When making reservations for doubles’ play, all four players’ names must be used. The front desk must be notified of all player name changes.

Day-ahead reservations - Courts reserved 1 day in advance are referred to as “day- ahead courts”. Players may participate on only one “day-ahead court” per day. Members who play on more than one “day-ahead” court will be charged a $10 fine.

Prime Times - Prime times are defined as: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5:45 pm and 7:00 pm. Juniors may not make a prime time day-ahead reservation unless playing with an adult.

Court Cancellations & No Shows - Court cancellations must be made through the Front Desk at least two hours prior to court time. Late cancellations and “no shows” will be charged $10/ person, maximum $20/court. Players with court reservations who arrive late, risk losing their court after 15 minutes (unless the front desk is previously notified).

Waiting List A waiting list will be maintained for those wishing to fill a cancellation.

Practice Courts - Court reservations for one person, practicing without a ball machine, may be made on a “day-of-play” basis only.

Ball Machine - Violations to the above reservation rules will be subject to fines.

Violations Advance reservations are those made two hours or more prior to court time. Adult players are limited to 14 advance reservations per calendar month; junior players, 10 per calendar month; maximum number of reservations per family, 35 per calendar month. Players are not allowed to have their names on back-to-back reservations. All players on a reserved court, or who have their names on the court reservation sheet, will be charged a reservation. The following do not count as a reservation: Women’s Day and Women’s Night, Men’s Day and Men’s Night, Mixed Doubles Nights, Junior Day, Flights, lessons, tournaments and the use of open court (non-reserved) time.

FITNESS ATTIRE

Proper dress code rules apply to all members and guests.

All clothing must be in good condition and clean.

Designs and logos on all apparel must be in good taste.

Shirts and athletic shoes must be worn at all times.

WEIGHT ROOM RULES

No food, gum or beverages other than water are allowed in the fitness room.

Complimentary weight room orientations are available and recommended for all members. Appointments may be scheduled through the front desk.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the weight room.

Juniors aged 12 – 18 must have an orientation with the one of our personal trainers before using any equipment. There is no charge for a fitness-room orientation.

locker rooms

Lockers are available to rent by the month.

Towels, hair dryers and toiletries are provided by the club at no charge. Please be sure to drop your towel in an appropriate towel bin before leaving the club.

Members are asked to secure personal items and valuables in lockers or keep them with them at all times.

Guest lockers are available for day use free of charge but should not be considered secure storage.

Children under age 14 may not use the jacuzzi or sauna unless accompanied by an adult.

Opposite-sex children age 5 and under are permitted in locker rooms when accompanied by an adult.

Handicapped facilities are located between the childcare room and court #4.

Massage

Massage is available to both members and non-members. Appointments may be made through the front desk.
